Zadar is a city that has been attacked many times by different armies in different wars and periods, but it was also defended many times and has risen from the ashes like a Phoenix bird. The pearl of the Adriatic was the wish of many, but today it lives its peace and independence. Through this tour we will introduce you to the details of what happened in Zadar during the Homeland War in Croatia. You will find out what series of events preceded the war, how Zadar was attacked, how its defense was organized, how people lived at that time and what activities and actions were carried out to successfully defend the city. We will visit several of 200 bunkers in the vicinity of Zadar and also few important defensive points and locations. Total duration is 3 h, and the distance is about 45 km.
