Croatia’s wineries are a testament to the country’s centuries-old vinicultural tradition. Guests can stroll through picturesque vineyards, enjoy guided tastings, and learn about indigenous grape varieties such as Plavac Mali and Pošip. Many wineries also host pairing dinners, live music events, and cultural festivals that celebrate the fusion of wine and Croatian heritage.
Our story
We are a family winery located in small Istrian village of Narduči near Poreč, in Vižinada district. Wine became our love in the 1880s when our great-great grandfather planted the first vineyard, which ultimately lead to wine being our life today, 140 years later. We were among the first in Istria to start with high-quality production of wine in the mid 1990s which can be recognized in our modernly equipped wine cellar. We have won many awards over the years but are especially proud of our grand cru Malvasia Istriana, made out of grapes from the original vineyard planted by our great grandfather. You will taste wine next to its place of origin, poured and presented to you by us as the winemaker and accompanied by prosciutto and cheese but also tones of a hundred years old piano.
Our unique location
Here by Mirna river and its valley, you can enjoy wanderings among vineyards and olive groves, admire the sea, Alps and the walls of ancient Grožnjan, away from everyday problems. Vineyards are on a highly sunny position, affected by the micro-climate, mixture of white and grey soils and flysch which adds uniqueness to our wines. Vižinada terroir is special in a global context and we will keep valorizing it through our wines and hard work - both part of our heritage and love for it.
