Bartulović Winery

Winery

Croatia’s wineries are a testament to the country’s centuries-old vinicultural tradition. Guests can stroll through picturesque vineyards, enjoy guided tastings, and learn about indigenous grape varieties such as Plavac Mali and Pošip. Many wineries also host pairing dinners, live music events, and cultural festivals that celebrate the fusion of wine and Croatian heritage.

Our story

Our Bartulović family estate consisting of Bartulović winery, tavern and handful of great activities is a perfect relaxation spot when you find yourself on Pelješac peninsula. Prizdrina hamlet is our location. We are one of the first wineries in the area to introduce organic wine production and although we use modern technologies and advanced winery management, we still practice traditional viticulture to produce around 12.000 bottles a year. Of course, Plavac mali is a predominant variety and we also grow white variety Rukatac to make wines that represent our soil, climate and heritage perfectly. You can experience this authenticity by booking a wine tasting, Dalmatian food & wine experience with local products in our tavern, wine tour or some other culinary tour we offer.

Our unique location

Pelješac has long been rich in vines and winemaking & viticulture activities are widespread, and to the pride of the population who cherish them as a cultural asset. We are especially proud of Plavac mali variety, which grows in vineyards on extremely sunny slopes and is one of the most important Croatian varieties. Our own vineyards are located between 50 and 400 m above sea level and on different types of soil. We cultivate them in accordance with the tradition of our wine-rich region.
