Croatia’s wineries are a testament to the country’s centuries-old vinicultural tradition. Guests can stroll through picturesque vineyards, enjoy guided tastings, and learn about indigenous grape varieties such as Plavac Mali and Pošip. Many wineries also host pairing dinners, live music events, and cultural festivals that celebrate the fusion of wine and Croatian heritage.
Our story
Winemaking and viticulture is our main activity, but also passion and something we do out of love and to nurture the family tradition. As a part of our Benvenuti winery, one of the most recognized and most important in Croatia today, we cultivate indigenous varieties - Malvasia Istriana, Teran and Muscat. Basic and aged Malvasia, fresh and harmonious Teran and intense and pleasant acid-rich sweet wines - their quality is widely recognized on the market. People enjoy every drop in which they feel terroir, our family story, hard work and experience. Besides wine production we offer different wine tours and wine tastings. Such experiences allow us to fully share our passion for wine and thus - for life itself, by hosting you in our vineyard, tasting room or a wine cellar near Motovun!
Our unique location
Microlocations are one of the pillars of our quality, together with family tradition and a constant focus on indigenous varieties. Vineyards Santa Elisabetta, San Salvatore, Španjole and Divjaki are all special. Terraced configuration and white soil with unique microclimate conditions give our varieties a strong character, reflected in wines with emphasized minerality, freshness and full expression of all the needed characteristics.
