Our story

Join us in an incredible adventure surrounded by the green canopy of olive trees and discover the flavors of Istrian award-winning olive oils. The olive oil tour includes a walk through one of the largest olive groves in southern Istria and a tasting. During our hike, I will explain to you how we take care of the olive groves when the harvest has to be done and how extra virgin olive oil is produced. Our peninsula has always been known as an ideal place for growing olives and vineyards. According to the historian Pliny the Elder, in Roman times the southern part of the region was called the "Golden Triangle" because of the production of one of the best olive oils in the entire Roman Empire. Our unique location

Istria region has the shape of a heart, where through history 3 different cultures enrich our cultural heritage. We suppose that during the Roman empire, the biggest part of different sorts of olive plants and grapes was planted. Some archeologists discover that even during the bronze age, our coast was planted with olive trees.
