Kraljevski Vinogradi

Winery

Croatia’s wineries are a testament to the country’s centuries-old vinicultural tradition. Guests can stroll through picturesque vineyards, enjoy guided tastings, and learn about indigenous grape varieties such as Plavac Mali and Pošip. Many wineries also host pairing dinners, live music events, and cultural festivals that celebrate the fusion of wine and Croatian heritage.

Our story

Our Kraljevski Vinogradi (Royal Vineyards) winery was founded in 2009 by giving a new life to the vineyards historically connected to Croatian King Petar Krešimir IV, since in 1066 he donated a vineyard to the Benedictine monastery of St Mary in Zadar. Today our vineyards are located on the hills above charming Petrčane near Zadar, overlooking the beautiful blue of the Adriatic sea, with Croatian indigenous grape varieties planted: Pošip, Crljenak, Plavac mali, and besides those Muškat žuti. We are focused on lower production of premium wines that have been awarded many times. Visit our vineyards, restaurant and tasting room and find out for yourself why our location and our wines are admired by many.

Our unique location

Kraljevski Vinogradi vineyards are located on one of the best locations in Northern Dalmatia - overlooking the city of Zadar, the islands of the Zadar archipelago and Velebit mountain. Our vines were planted on a rocky soil, with an optimum slope towards southwest and with a full day direct sun exposure. The microclimate is unique - with constant circulation of the air, from the sea and from the Velebit mountain. All this results in high-quality grapes and premium wines!
