Our story

Our Prgin Wine is a boutique family winery from Primošten. With passion and love we create wines, primarily from indigenous variety Babić, which grows in unique and world-famous positions of vineyards on Bucavac and Jadrtovac, the best positions in Dalmatia. In addition to Babić, we produce another indigenous Dalmatian variety - Debit. This testifies to our commitment to local varieties. The two of us, Domagoj and Ivana, as spouses winemakers (and Domagoj used to be a professor of history!) still keep the tradition of the Primošten region alive, which can be seen through our labels - where the rooster, which is a symbol of the Prgin family and represents family nickname, has a central position. To experience the story even better, visit our newly renovated tasting room in the hinterland of Primošten. You will be enchanted by the style and splendor of the winery and its carefully designed space, which, metaphorically speaking, stand like a jewel among the millennial Dalmatian karst.

Our unique location

We are especially proud of our Babić vineyards on Bucavac - as they represent a dedication to effort and sustainability through generations. Bordered by kilometers of dry stone walls, they are a real piece of art. All the more valuable as they are not available by machines and that processing and harvesting are done manually. There, Babić is of low yield, but it gives a top quality wine. With such a historical contribution from the people of Primošten, it cannot be any different.
