Our story

Guided by the tradition and love for truffles, our family has been, for generations, dedicated to the preservation of truffle hunting and the distribution of Istrian truffle products to all who want to feel authentic Istrian flavors, aromas and culture. The most famous truffle type in Istria is the white truffle, which ripens from September to January. Black truffle is found in winter while its Tuber aestivum variant can be found all year round. Truffle hunting is an unforgettable event during which you will hear all about our hunting tradition and feel the excitement in finding truffles with great help in our dogs and their delicate sense of smell. Later we will prepare our catch and enjoy truffle delicacies: truffle spreads, olive oils, cheese and salami with truffles and more.

Our unique location

The Istrian peninsula in its inner parts hides autochthonous natural resources and experiences, and one of them is truffles and the process of searching for them. Our city of Buzet is also called the city of truffles because in addition to extra virgin olive oils, wine, cheese, brandy and honey, it is a natural habitat for truffles. Mirna river valley is especially prominent when it comes to finding white truffles in Istria.
