Our story

Sailing Club Uljanik is a sailing club based in Pula, Croatia, with a proud tradition dating back to 1948. As one of the oldest members of the Croatian Sailing Federation, the club offers programs for various sailing classes, including Optimist, ILCA (Laser), and cruisers. It runs summer sailing schools for both children and adults, led by experienced coaches and even an Olympian.

Our unique location

JK Uljanik’s sailing school is located at the protected Bunarina harbor on the Verudela peninsula in Pula—a priceless setting for both beginners and advanced sailors. Nestled within a natural bay, Bunarina offers calm, safe waters ideal for learning, launching directly into Pula Bay and the Northern Adriatic. The location is special because it gives sailors direct access to a stunning sailing playground: clear Mediterranean waters, and pleasant summer winds like the Maestral (10–15 knots).
