This small settlement, made entirely out of stone, is located just a step away from the sea - between Rovinj and Pula, yet so easy to miss. The world's finest extra-virgin olive oils are produced in this very sweet and smart little town, so you might want to reconsider skipping it. Bale is by far one of the most authentic places to visit in Istria. It's where we escape from crowded Rovinj to enjoy nature and grab a drink. However, personally, it holds a special spot in my heart. It's where my grandma was born and now that she's gone, I carry on her memories by telling stories from her hometown. I can't wait to introduce you to the most authentic version of the Mediterranean and Istrian lifestyle, I just need to be sure you can keep a secret. . .

About the offer

Visit to the olive press established in 1927. Today's owners have restored the old machinery which are exhibited in the tasting room. This offer includes a professional olive oil tasting accompanied by typical local Istrian snacks and wine.

This is a walking tour. Transportation between cities can be arranged with my Renault Clio (for max. 2 pax) Option: I can rent a car but the price is going to change in that case, contact me for arrangements.
