Our story

The wines of our family winery Poljak very clearly reflect two things: the magical fascination with wines and dedication to the production of top wines from the Zadar region. We produce red wine of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah varieties and their blend, while also being dedicated to producing white wine from Maraština, an indigenous variety of this part of Dalmatia. We follow the trends in winemaking and treat every harvest carefully but with an effort to innovate. Although a relatively young winery, from the very beginning we had a vision of producing top quality wines - and succeeded in that. Poljak winery is highly rewarded as we return from all competitions with medals which are proof of the quality of our wines that are present on both the Croatian and international markets.

Our unique location

Our winery and tasting room are located in the most beautiful part of Zadar along the sea coast, where you will enjoy the sight already on your way to us. On the other hand, our vineyards are located in Zadar hinterland - Benkovac-Stankovci vineyard which is the best one in northern Dalmatia. Located on a karst with a stone skeleton of limestone rocks, oriented to the south, and greatly exposed to the sun they enjoy typical Dalmatian terroir, accentuated by unique microclimate.
