Čvrsnica: Žlijeb-Tise Hike

About the experience

Čvrsnica Mountain, as a part of mountains representing Dinaric extension of the Swiss Alps, is located in northern Herzegovina. It has more than ten summits above 2000 m. Its highest peak – Pločno (2228masl) is actually the highest mountain peak in all Herzegovina and bears the name „Herzegovina’s roof top”. Čvrsnica also hides beautiful lakes: Blidinje, Crepulja and Crvenjak. Its bio-life is characteristic with numerous endemic species (like Munika Pine) and is also known as a home of chamois. We find it as the ideal place for all those who desire silence, wilderness and mountain peacefulness, complemented only with sounds of wind and hidden forest inhabitants. Join us for a memorable hiking adventure starting from Mostar! This offer includes comfortable transport from your accommodation in Mostar to the mountain trail starting point and back. You’ll be guided by an experienced, fully equipped, English-speaking mountain guide who will ensure both your safety and an enjoyable experience. During the hike, you’ll be treated to a freshly prepared sandwich, a tasty snack, and a warm cup of coffee or tea to recharge along the way. Please come prepared with hiking boots or sturdy sneakers, a medium-sized backpack, at least 1 liter of water, a light sandwich, a raincoat, a spare shirt, a sun hat and sun protection cream. Our guide will meet you at your accommodation at 8:00 AM for departure, and you’ll return to your accommodation by 5:00 PM.
