About the experience

Discover Vukovar through an experience that brings together history, culture, local heritage and the beauty of the Danube. This 3-hour guided experience begins with a visit to the Vukovar City Museum, located in the magnificent Eltz Castle, where you will discover the rich history and cultural heritage of the region. After the museum visit, we continue with a guided walking tour through the historic Baroque centre of Vukovar. Along the way, your local guide will share stories about the city's history, architecture, landmarks and everyday life, offering a personal insight into Vukovar beyond the usual tourist highlights. The experience ends on the Danube, where we board a boat for a relaxing panoramic cruise along the river. Enjoy beautiful views of Vukovar from the water and a glass of local wine while taking in the atmosphere of the river that has shaped the city's life for centuries. This is a mixed-group experience for 6–14 guests and is led by a local licensed tourist guide. The experience is available seasonally until mid-October, depending on weather and safe sailing conditions. Included in the experience are the museum entrance, guided walking tour, Danube boat cruise and one glass of wine.
