Unique tour - discover Istria as it was before Romans came

About the experience

For this full day tour (8 hours) we will pick you up at the desired location in Rovinj, Poreč or Pula and embark on our journey. Crafty pirates, skilled sailors and strong builders of Istrian hills have glorified their environment and lived from their surroundings for centuries. We will visit the hills, discover the community and organization of Histri people before the arrival of Romans. First stop is Nesactium, Valtura, near Pula - it is the capital of the ancient Histri people. Then, we go to Mordele Hillfort to hike the hills near Poreč to learn about the great history of the people that lived there and finally visit Monkodonja Hillfort for a walk around these ruins of a major pre-Roman settlement.
