Hiking at Samobor hills + traditional lunch and wine tasting

About the experience

You will be picked up in Zagreb at any accessible location. Short drive to Mali Lipovec, where we will have instructions before the hike. I hold an adventure guide license issued by Croatian Mountain Rescue Association so you are perfectly safe with me. The hike up will be around 1 hour and 45 minutes through evergreen forest. At the top of Japetić we shall rest and have some locally made snacks. After the hike down we will have a short drive to a local restaurant with almost 100 years of hosting tradition. After lunch, we will visit old town Samobor, a ruin of what was once a nobleman estate. We will also visit Plešivica region, famous for excellent Croatian continental wines. Our friendly host is a multiple times awarded winemaker. After the tasting you will be driven back to Zagreb.

Remarks

Hiking shoes and comfortable clothing is required. I recommend wearing a hat or some other sun protective gear. Medium level of fitness is required to participate in this tour. All the food and drinks offered on the tour are sourced locally.
