Naša priča

Sever Winery is a distinguished family-owned vineyard located in Klanjec, within the picturesque Krapina-Zagorje County of northern Croatia. The Sever family cultivates a variety of grape types. Their portfolio includes well-known varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Graševina (Welschriesling), Pinot Grigio, and Rhine Riesling. Notably, they are recognized for their dedication to the indigenous Croatian grape variety called Sokol, which is distinguished by its robust skin and was traditionally consumed as a table grape.

Established in 1989, the winery is nestled on the southern slopes of Cesargrad Hill, benefiting from favorable sun exposure and a conducive microclimate that contribute to the exceptional quality of their grapes. Their commitment to excellence is evident in their wines, which are marketed with a designation of controlled origin, ensuring authenticity and adherence to regional winemaking standards.
