About the experience

Honey & Mead Experience beneath Velebit is a tasting experience located near Maslenica, combining local tradition, nature, and authentic hospitality. Guests visit our family-run estate where they are introduced to traditional beekeeping and mead production. The experience includes tasting natural honey, traditional mead, rakija, and sparkling mead, paired with local delicacies such as homemade cheese, prosciutto, pancetta, bread, olive oil, and traditional sweets. The experience takes place in a peaceful natural setting with views of Velebit’s rugged landscape and is hosted by our family of local producers - we share stories about tradition and life in the region. Group size is limited to a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 30 people, ensuring a relaxed and personal atmosphere.

Location or meeting point

If you think you might have trouble finding the exact location, do not worry. Upon booking confirmation we will deliver exact coordinates to your email address. In your voucher you will receive instructions on how to reach the location correctly, as well (if provided by the host). Some agencies will let you pick among several pick-up locations or pick you at the specific location of your own choice (e.g. your apartment). This is why they have your phone number and you have theirs - so you can easily arrange this over the phone.
