About the experience

Tradition, diversity or richness of Ravni Kotari region can best be described by simple taste of its traditional local cuisine. Join us for this gastro and cultural tour - a discovery of the cultural, and gastronomical heritage of this region. It represents richest and most fertile grounds in the hinterland of Zadar, that has lived through many historical tales, and has at the same time been source of the best local products. We visit Korlat (for their very well known products), the native local museum in Benkovac (Zavičajni muzej Benkovac); where you will see archeological, ethnological, cultural-historical, materials from the wide Benkovac area, go to Asseria; which is the ancient hillfort settlement from the 1st century, the Kličevica Fortress; located above Kličevica river canyon in Benkovac which served as a political and defensive structure, and finish our trip with a visit to agricultural cooperative MasVin, where you will experience quality wines and olive oil through a wine tasting, paired with local prosciutto and cheese.
