Bike & wine tour with authentic flavours of golden Slavonia

O iskustvu

We take you on an unforgettable cycling trip through the Golden Valley. From the center of Požega we will cycle towards the small town of Pleternica, take the Road of rose and wine, through vineyards and to the wine barrel of Markota family. There you will taste three of their wines paired with distinctive Slavonian specialties like homemade sausage - kulen and bacon, alongside cow cheese, and hear more about this wine region, while admiring beautiful panoramic views. Then, you will taste a traditional festive dish of local winegrowers: homemade rooster soup and Požega vineyard ćevap (sort of uniquely seasoned pork leg and beef kebab). Homemade strudels are the dessert. We finish our trip by visiting unique Bećarac Square and going back to Požega where you can buy local products.

You have the possibility to choose an easier route by asphalt road or a slightly more demanding route by forest road. Also, we can organize transfer to and from Požega. Electric bike or quad bike rent can be done separately with surcharge.
