Your exclusive 50-minute journey departs from Breg, winding south along the river's quiet current - past the stone arches of St. Jakob's Bridge and the elegant cast-iron Hradecki, toward the point where the Gradaščica merges silently into the Ljubljanica. The sculpted shores of Trnovski pristan drift by before we reach Špica, where generations of Ljubljančani once swam and sunbathed on lazy summer afternoons. On the return, the city opens up in full. The castle watches from above, Baroque facades line the banks, and one iconic bridge follows another: Cobbler's, Triple, Butcher's, Dragon's - until Plečnik's timeless Sluice Gate signals the final turn back to Breg. No crowds. No fixed itinerary. Just the river, the city, and your group. Drinks and finger food can be arranged as optional add-ons, charged separately.

From late November through early January, the city glows with festive illumination. During this period, 50-minute tours run between 11:00–15:00, subject to demand. Tours between January and April are also available when demand, weather, and river conditions align. River Flow Limits: We monitor the Ljubljanica's flow closely. Normal operations run below 100 m³/s; the absolute maximum is 120 m³/s (31,700 US gal/s). Beyond this threshold, safety requires suspension of all tours. When We Cancel: Heavy rain, dense fog, strong currents, or floating debris may force cancellations. River flow is the most common reason. When debris risk is present, we act early — guest safety always comes first. It is our sincere intention to operate without interruption and keep every guest, partner, and booking honoured. Nature, however, occasionally decides otherwise. In such cases, we will always communicate promptly and transparently.
