The 50-minute cruise begins at Breg embankment, sailing south against the current past historic bridges . St. Jakob's and the cast-iron Hradecki, before reaching the confluence of the Gradaščica and Ljubljanica rivers. After admiring the manicured shores of Trnovski pristan, we turn at Špica, once a beloved swimming spot, before heading towards Livada and its charming riverside restaurant. Returning to the city centre, the river reveals Ljubljana at its most magnificent: the towering castle, elegant Baroque facades, Cobbler's Bridge, the famous Triple Bridge, and the bustling Marketplace. We pass the Butcher's Bridge, the Dragon's Bridge, and Plečnik's iconic Sluice Gate before gliding back to Breg, having seen the very best of Ljubljana from its most beautiful vantage point, which is - the water.

From late November through early January, the city glows with festive illumination. During this period, 50-minute tours run between 11:00–15:00, subject to demand. Tours between January and April are also available when demand, weather, and river conditions align. River Flow Limits: We monitor the Ljubljanica's flow closely. Normal operations run below 100 m³/s; the absolute maximum is 120 m³/s (31,700 US gal/s). Beyond this threshold, safety requires suspension of all tours. When We Cancel: Heavy rain, dense fog, strong currents, or floating debris may force cancellations. River flow is the most common reason. When debris risk is present, we act early — guest safety always comes first. It is our sincere intention to operate without interruption and keep every guest, partner, and booking honoured. Nature, however, occasionally decides otherwise. In such cases, we will always communicate promptly and transparently.
