Join us on this great adventure through which you will get to know the best of the culture, history, gastronomy and wine of the Zadar region, that is, the historically rich area of ​​Ravni Kotari. We start this private trip from Zadar, anywhere in Zadar county or from Ravni Kotari area. First we take a trip to Benkovac, to the newly renovated Native Museum in the Kaštel Benković building, where you will learn more about the area of ​​Ravni Kotari and its famous history. If desired, we can also take a walk in the town of Benkovac. After that, we head towards the nearby ancient site of Asseria, where you will be taught more about it and have some time to admire it - Asseria was once a magnificent city with powerful walls and one of the most important Liburnian and Roman settlements in Northern Dalmatia, with a continuity of life that goes back to the Iron Age. Then we continue our great experience at the Kamenjak viewpoint. There, you will have a great view of the Adriatic islands and Lake Vrana - the largest natural lake in Croatia, whose Nature Park covers 57 km2 and whose dominant feature is the habitat of birds and the Special Ornithological Reserve - one of the most important in Europe. You will hear an interpretation about the Park and enjoy its beauty. The road takes us further to Maškovića Han, the former residence of the supreme admiral of the Turkish fleet, Jusuf Mašković (whose origin is from Vrana). There we will tour that beautiful building and have lunch - you can choose between the famous Turkish specialty Izmir Kofte or the Mediterranean pasta - pljukanci with prawns. Depending on the variant of the trip you choose, we can end it with a visit to the famous MasVin winery. There we will taste wines and tour the vineyard, where the cultivation of vines and the production of wine and olive oil are based exclusively on organic principles!
