Fish cooking class in Istria - feel the tradition!

O iskustvu

We meet at the Pula city center and visit the fish market for the best daily offer, where you choose some catch according to your wishes. It can be calamari, shellfish, sardines or any other! Then we head for our family farm - Scuola (cooking studio with max capacity of 15 people; located in Goran's olive grove 15 minutes away from Pula). There, we use grandmothers’ recipes for preparation of various Mediterranean fish and seafood, which can also include simple pasta making. This class, although one of our most creative ones, is all about simplicity as it teaches us how simple methods of preparation can be effective and lead to the great final result - amazing food. This class is 7 hours long.

Zašto je ovo iskustvo autentično

Our cooking classes are performed in our family farm - between Medulin and Ližnjan, in the southeast Istria. A small house hiding between olive trees is the origin of all my devotion to genuine food and wine. The main reason why I founded EatIstria in 2012. Here my grandmother Ana lived a true and hard peasant life.
