Hop in our car, we are going to pick you up anywhere in Istria and drive you for the entire day and visit 2-3 local wineries to sample a wide range of styles and varieties. The Istrian wine universe is vast and ever expanding, slowly conquering international palates with Istrian Malvazija, Teran, Muscat of Momjan, and Borgonja – native grape varieties we Istrians are very proud of. This tour comprises visit to the peninsula's hidden gems of wineries.

visit of two to three wineries* (depending on number of wines we try in each winery)
tasting fees in each winery
tasting of at least 15 wines in total
one-course lunch in a traditional Istrian tavern
we can organize pick-up/drop-off anywhere in Istria county (it is also possible to organize transfer from Rijeka or Opatija for additional fee of 60 EUR for 2-5 persons)
you'll learn about the history and the styles of winemaking in Istria, the indigenous grape varieties, soils and microclimates and basics of pairing with signature Istrian dishes.

Locals admit they are spoilt for choice and often find it difficult to put up a reasonable wine tasting itinerary allowing them to experience (and learn!) as much as possible in a single day. Add to this a wish that wines you’ll taste more or less match your drinking preferences and things will get even more complicated.
