Eating meat from the spit means you will taste a dish with just the right amount of crispness, well prepared and above all - tasty. As embers heat every part of the lamb or piglet equally, it has to be perfect, if prepared by the person skilled enough. And that is exactly the case at Roca estate. As always homemade brandy as a welcome drink is followed by cold starters - classic but authentic Roca plate consisting of cured meat and local cheese. Homemade meat soup with warm bread comes after. And then - something that you will eagerly be waiting for at that point - lamb or piglet from the spit, accompanied by baked potatoes and salad. So fresh and so sweet! Scalloped pancakes with cheese and cream are a great finisher as a dessert, to complete this gastronomic serenade.
