We meet at the Pula city center and then we head for our family farm – Scuola. For this class we make Vegetable minestrones and baccala' (stockfish) in bianco, in rosso (stew with tomatoes, more Dalmatian style) or mantecato (creamy spread usually served as appetizer and eateon Christmas Eve). We can say that these dishes are result of the influence of Venetian Republic that left its mark in Istrian traditional cuisine, as it was ruling Istria for centuries. You will surely enjoy this 6 hours long class at our cooking studio in the olive groves!

In your voucher you will receive instructions on how to reach the location correctly, as well (if provided by the host). Some agencies will let you pick among several pick-up locations or pick you at the specific location of your own choice (e.g. your apartment). Our cooking classes are performed in our family farm - between Medulin and Ližnjan, in the southeast Istria. A small house hiding between olive trees is the origin of all my devotion to genuine food and wine. The main reason why I founded EatIstria in 2012. Here my grandmother Ana lived a true and hard peasant life.
On Sundays we charge 25% extra directly on the spot (on the price you can see here). All our programs are free of charge for children 0-6 years. This class has to be booked at least three days in advance, as we need to source stockfish and soak it a couple of days beforehand.
